Story behind the eCard product
So here's the story
Basically, I heard from a long term client that one of their
staff who I've worked with had gotten a promotion. Just to be nice
I thought I'd send them an online congratulations card - these are
something we make, and I've always thought they're cool because
we've animated them so you can open them and manipulate them like a
real card.
Anyway, I thought no more of it, until a couple of days later
when I got a call from the client. Now, I'd forgotten that we'd
left some branding on the "back" of the card listing our range of
services. Turns out they'd had so much fun playing with it, that
they'd found this list and seen services there which, in FOUR YEARS
as our client they'd had no idea we could offer...
To cut a long story short, one Congratulations card later we've
not only got a very happy client, but a big order for Content
Management Systems that we never would have had otherwise!
(yay!)
Anyway, this got me thinking, who else do I know who's company
offers lots of different services and has lots of regular clients
who might need reminded about them. That's when I realised almost
all businesses have multiple services they offer, some not even on
their current website or other marketing material.
Now, everyone's struggling a bit right now, and ironically the
first thing to go when times are tough is usually the marketing
budget, but these in particular seem to have a really high ROI, and
as we can put them together pretty quickly, I'm only looking for
£5.50 each or £35 if you're looking for a fully branded one (future
eCards then only cost £5.50 each).
